It's time to reluctantly offer up this excellent Roscoe Century Signature V.
Almost everything you could think of was spec'd into this bass; Natural finish (Clear coated) Mahogany Body with an Amboyna Burl top. The board is Macassar Ebony with a Diamondwood nut. The neck is thinly profiled wedge Maple and Purpleheart with Paduk and Cherry. This is a pretty instrument!
P'ups are the Roscoe Barts with the OBP-3 preamp. If you want a different tone, included are two new Classic Bart pickups that were not installed.
I currently have a fresh set of Black Diamonds on a very flat neck and unbelievably low action set up, you might want a little more relief if you only play finger style but if you dig in you've got to hear the sound! The neck rod and nut is fine and adjusts normally BTW.
The condition is excellent, I don't think there's a nick or scratch anywhere. The pickup covers have some normal "string line"
on them so I would say only some normal play wear on this bass. I don't see any unusual fret wear or marks on the board as well. It has been handled very carefully.
It will include a Roscoe hard shell case which does show a very small degree of wear as it has been carried. Also includes the extra p'ups, wrench and Roscoe build letter.
Price shipped in CONUS your choice of UPS or Fedex with professional packing is $2250 PayPal without fees to me. I am not interested in any trades, please don't ask. I can't picture a bass that would be more desirable than this one anyway. I am willing to debate the price and shipping but I will insist that it be shipped in a manner that protects both parties.
