I've read some threads re: How Loud is Too Loud, and realize that my bandmates will probably always play too loud for my tastes (for whatever reasons), plus our practice space is tiny... and as a spectator at live events, I feel they are always WAY too loud... I got myself my first baseline hearing test, and custom fitted Etymotic 25dB attenuating plugs! They are awesome, and seal much, much better than the storeboughts. They are comfortable, and easy to seat, once you get the feel of it. It's much more enjoyable playing with the band now, and I'm looking forward to the next live concert I go to. Best $180 I ever spent! I highly recommend these plugs, and don't get less attenuation than the 25 dB. Save your hearing y'all!
