hi there,

I have just purchased a mid 90s Trace Elliot GP12 SMX head with a 4x10 cab. I have looked everywhere for a footswitch that will work with it but there are no old ones about. I have seen the newer BPF-4 footswitches you can buy and I was wondering if someone could advise me on if it would work with the amp. I don't want to buy one and break something as its a 20year old amp and a brand new footswitch.

Thanks a lot guys,
Luke

Hey!
You need a footswitch of the series 6 amps-the markV ones will not work and the BFC ones will not work, too!
It has to look like this one:

hello please does anybody know how this switch in the picture above operates? I mean does it have momentary switches (dual)? I'm looking for a foot switch for my GP11 mkV preamp (C500 combo) and I can buy this one pictured above for a nice price, but the question is - will it work with the GP11 mkV preamp? thanks!
