You mean the one from Live at the Cellar Door? Tom G played several solos on that one. That was one of my first bluegrass albums way back when I was switching from rock and roll. I went steady with that one for years. That's some great playing. Spend some time figuring that out on your own. Head out to the woodshed. You'll learn an awful lot!

The correct solo is the one YOU play, that YOU'RE comfortable with, when they give YOU the nod for a bass solo on Grandfather's Clock.
As the poster said before, learn from what you can find and then make it your own.

There is a bluegrass bass video by a guy who teaches at Levelland College in Texas that presents Tom Gray's solo as the instructor's own ideas! I thought that was really cheesy but the video is out there if you are completely stuck.
