A few months ago, I was at Grandma's Music in Albuquerque for a Genz Benz open house with Jeff Genzler. I have to say I was really blown away by the TalkBass community's presence both at and after the event.

Ever since then, I've been itching to get back with a full-blown workshop format - and it's finally happening! On Saturday, September 17th, I'll be back at Grandma's for an "Ask Anything" clinic with drummer Eddie Garcia.

And I MEAN ask anything:

"Doug, why do you wear those shoes?"

"Can you show me how to adjust my truss rod?"

"Will you play a few bars of 'Dixie,' please?"

The workshop starts at 1:00pm. Hope to see you there!

Ok, I'll start with... Doug, how fast is "really fast"? ;)

If you have never seen Doug play, if you want to be entertained AND educated in things bass & percussion that you would never have believe possible, this will be one of the most enjoyable and productive events you will ever attend. Not only are his workshops totally cool AND accessable, you will also meet some great folks including TB forumites.

Love the sound of that: gigS. Please let us know here what we need to do to make this happen. Also, stand by for a pretty killer portrait I made of you this time, more weird blurs, cool stuff and a GREAT bassface...
Thanks again, see you soon, hopefully!
