Yes, and I referred you to the page with a more than decent explanation of acoustic resonance, which you chose to ignore. I simply said that instrument makers use the tern in a nebulous esoteric fashion as a marketing or industry term, when describing something. There is an actual definition and while it is something like what instrument makers use, it is more technical and fleshed out.

The way instrument makers use the word is the EXACT context in which it was being debated. Taking the debate outside of that context is "arguing, just to argue".

If almost every respected stringed instrument maker uses the word, then it is acceptable for the laymen to use the word in the same context.

In other words, if Martin and Fender and Gibson aren't moronic for saying it, then "Killed By Deaths" guitar player acquaintance isn't a moron for saying it.

A lot of words get twisted out of meaning when they become marketing tools, I don't take any of it too seriously, hyperbole was always the bane of truth. For instance when Tony the Tiger opined that Frosted Flakes were "Grrrrrrreeeeeaaatttt!", I mentally downgrade that to "pretty good for sugar-encrusted corn". The debate on Frosted Mini-Wheats rages on, is their primary attribute "Tasty Wheat", or "Nicely Sweet"? Are "Tone Bars" better than Garden Variety Titianium Bars? How many Licks to the center of a Tootsie Pop? We may never know these things, and I'm OK with the Mystery.

It's marketing bull, & it's being used incorrectly.
If it was resonating there'd be a low output dip.

I'm having a bit of a conundrum with graphite vs. Ti right now, as I finally own one of each.
The graphite-reinforced neck isn't as stiff as the Ti-reinforced one, but it fooled me for two days, because it sounds like it would be really stiff.
