Greetings TB members from Australia! Long time lurker on TB reading the pearls of wisdom from those far more advanced in the ways of the bass than I! (also enjoying the frequent debates about flats vs rounds, p vs j vs pj, tort Pick guards, HPF pedals.....anyway I digress)

I mainly a backyard bass player between work and family. Do some recording every now and then with some mates in a band. Only ever played bass and a bit fanatical about actually. Took 10 - 15 years off due to career etc and completely regret it.

I record a lot of my own stuff though. Usually I record 1-2 songs week. Pretty rough, I’m no sound engineer that’s for sure, but I’ve just recently started a YouTube channel to post them. Still loading them up. I’ve got a fair few so it’ll take me a awhile! Idea being happy for people to use them or collaborate further if interested......otherwise not. Not fussed either way.

Howdy and welcome. I passed through Sydney back in the early 90's on my way to shoot a Chevron commercial near Exmouth. Now I wish I'd made arrangements to stop over. Maybe I'll get back to Australia someday. Anyway, glad to have you aboard.

I Really hope to get to the US someday (and ex mouth as well). I have a mate in California we were hoping to visit before he finishes up there for work. Not looking good now with Covid. Cheers

Greetings from Sunny Arizona!!

I think I’ll be Down Under in Oct 2021. Brisbane, Gold Coast, Koala Cuddle at the Irwin’s for our two young boys- and three days in Fiji on way back Stateside. I hope we’ve “calmed down” by then to allow us rabid Yanks out of our own country!
