Groups

I'm not sure if this is where I would post to ask about this but I couldn't find another area to ask.

In my signature you can see I put "The Bearded Bassist" I happened to notice someone else had Bearded Bassist with a number and others have some sort of title and number of sort of a group. I was wondering how you get into these "groups" and how to find them here on the forums? It seems like a "for fun" kind of thing but I want in on the fun!

I don't know either. I can't believe no one brought this up before. Maybe that info is posted on another thread somewhere. Let me know if you find out.
