Has anyone received their 10% coupon from Guitar Center? I received an email link over a week ago to apply for the coupon. I haven't received it yet. The customer service people at Guitar Center don't seem to know about it, but they are receiving a lot of calls about it.

I got one, 10% off. It was the back page of a catalog... But I read the fine print and it excludes most things in the store....
I looked and looked, didn't have anything in mine. Had to go get a mic/stand/cable for a gig though. Just got the no-tax discount here in Texas. =)
got a 15. but my homeboy hook up was much better. i miss the 10 dollar discound on dr strings lol
Got a 15. But the fine print ruled out litterally every brand of stuff I wanted to buy (and used stuff etc), so in the trash it went.

I've never shopped at a GC in California, despite me living there since birth, up to last year. Since you're from the Bay Area (I'm by Fisherman's Wharf around the corner from the Safeway) you might wanna hit up Subway Guitars in Berkley... or was it Oakland... crap... its been awhile...
Subway Guitars rocks! And yes, last time I was there was about 20 years ago, but they had bulk strings in tubes, choose your own gauge, at the time is was about $7/set. They were Vinci strings. A lot of history in that place...funky shop! And I think it was in Berzerkley...I've never shopped at a GC in California, despite me living there since birth, up to last year. I'm thinking Berkly too. I bought a Dano from them along time ago and strung it with heavy gauge guitar strings.
They have a lot of cool vintage stuff and a massive inventory. I shopped there for a long time buying cheap Japanese basses that I played (see: smashed) into the ground.

Yup, they're in Berkeley. Waaay down Shattuck. Lots and lots of funky stuff... mostly off-brand, copies, nonames...
