Well, think of it like this, the chances are that your guitarists step daughter is going to be about 20 years younger than you, we all know that younger women like older men, but do you really stand much of a chance?
she's about 10 years younger than i am and i am about 10-15 years younger than the rest of the band. do i stand a chance? donno, she sends me messages at 3 in the morning..... 
the only thing i'm worried about is creating unnecessary trension in the band as it's sort of serious with albums and stuff. anyone here have experience with this sort of situation?

Just hit it already... You'll find another band.
I may be the only one here who will err on the side of caution and say don't do it. If the band is, as you said, fairly serious and you enjoy it, then don't do something that could ruin it.
So true. I've been talking to a girl before assuming she was 18 cause that's what she looked and then she drops the bomb that she can't drive for a year when she can get her license and I ask how old she is and she's 15 and it's like what, seriously?

eh, I'd say go for it. maybe she'll dig the keeping it secret thing or something too. that way you can at least have your cake and eat it too until the whole thing implodes
ehh id say go for it, if things go badly you can always attempt to talk your way out of it or worst case scenario you find a different band
Hmm, keeping it secret sounds like a good idea, but if your guitarist were to find out that's be some major trouble. I'm not sure though, its a real sticky situation. I would go for it.
