Guitarist gone to the Dark Side!

Hello all,
Each time I get to start a new thread I feel as if I am in a AA meeting introducing myself...

Well Here I go:
Good morning all My name is Peter and I have been a Guitarist for over thirty years until last week when I was in my wife's truck coming home from my son flag football game. As we passed a home that was throwing out trash I saw what looked like a guitar in the garbage. I yelled to my wife, STOP THE TRUCK! I quickly got out and grabbed the guitar and closed the door. The guitar had the strings on it and I took the rest of the saturday cleaning and work on my new bass. So it has been a week since I have last picked up my acoustic or my les paul or strat. I have only played bass three times in my life and now I have a lot of learning. Let me introduce you to the kids. The lighting in my studio is not the greatest.

Now this is my new love... I find my self singing "I am all about that bass..." LOL!! Oh well I guess I am hanging around my six year old a bit too much. I want to get a small bass amp but I am waiting to find the right deal on cragslist. Now I can bring all I know to this axe and see what
happens. Enjoy your weekend Peace!

I have a Peavey Max 15B amp that I purchased new for $110 +/- (don't remember the exact amount). Puts out 15 watts of power - and has a built in tuner. As a practice amp it does everything I ask of it. Weighs probably 15 lbs. I'm sure you can find them second hand for less, but, why bother at just over $100.

Welcome to the bottom end.
