He seems to really love his instruments.
Remember being in awe at the sounds he filled the LA memorial colesium with during the Momentary Lapse of Reason campaign in 1987
Interesting string type mixing on the Nash P51 style with the added bridge Jazz pickup. Bit of a closer look at that bass
Pratt grooving away in 1982 on Countdown ( he does some vocals too) on 'Hey Little Girl' by iconic Aussie band, Icehouse. One of the comments says this was Pratt's first TV appearance. Which bass is he playing?

I've heard he's pretty alright.jk. he's always been an amazing player and pretty hilarious.
If he were a guitar player with 1/30th the catalog he'd have 15 times as much stuff.

He IS, he used to do a comedy stand up about bass and the music industry in Scotland, really funny
Tough to tell exactly, but it looks like an Aria. My guess is something like this:

I always thought one of those would be perfect to use with the Ashdown CTM-15 "lunchbox" tube amp...
Probably. I use the CL-310-DH with a TC Electronic BQ500 head. It's not even my main rig. That cab isn't lightweight and I have another amp I prefer for easy transport.
It seems to me on one live show, he'll change basses more frequently than Keith Richards changes guitars. But that Status Headless Five-String though... Mercy.
One of my all-time favorite bassists. And has always answered me when I asked him for tips/gear tricks/what-did-you-use kinda questions, and even details on his watch collection
