Höhner 5-string bass bv5

Hi everyone,

I have an old 5-string Höhner bv5 from the eighties (yes, the headless one or so-called toothbrush).
It's in good overall condition but unfortunately one of the tuning pegs (or tuning knob) is missing.

Does anyone have an idea where i could find the appropriate piece for replacement ?

Maybe a local machine shop can copy one of the others?

Headlessusa.com has some parts. They’re not cheap though. You’d probably want to contact them and make sure they fit the Hohner version also. Other then that, you’re probably stuck with eBay or Reverb.

What exactly is missing: the knob, threaded rod, "claw", or the whole schmear?
