Haha, Rowan Atkinson

You want to see a role reversal? See Steven Fry as Jeeves, then watch Black Adder Goes Forth and see him as General Melchet.

"You're right. Oxford is a complete dump!!"

Yes! Melchett is hilarious!

"Darling, make note of the word "gobbledygook". I want to use it in sentences more often".

Classic.

I love his stuff!

But I rarely get to see it. I saw some on my local PBS station a while back. The Mr Bean Christmas episode was awesome. He ends up directing the Salvation Army band and makes them swing it a little. And stealing the top part of the town Christmas tree...genius.

And then they played Blackadder. "Poverty and deprivation stalk our land like two gigantic stalking things."

Then they played another Blackadder. The one with a time machine, where he punched Shakespeare in the nost in the name of everyone who would ever have to do a term paper on Shakespeares work.

Wow. Just wow.

Wow. Just wow.

And for forcing us to watch endless hours of Kenneth Branagh.:D

I still think the first series of Blackadder was the best.

"Well, you sure sound like one."

The first was ok, IMO. That's a good episode, though.

"See that? The Duke of Edinburgh. He's as scottish as the queen of England's teats...uh, sorry, your majesty."

I like Blackadder the third best.

"A man may fight for many things, his country, his friends, his principles, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn."

No, I don't have that one memorized. I had to search for it.:D
