halp > NEED 410 RECS! < halp

My mates never want to drive over to my place to help me load my 810, so I need a cab I can move up and down stairs myself. Due to playing a lot of super fast, distorted leads high on the neck, I much prefer the brighter and more responsive attack/sound of 10s (or even 12s) > 15s

Aside from a few exceptions, I'm unfamiliar with most modern bass cabs.
Here's what I've gathered.

Ampeg SVT 410 HLF = Currently borrowing one. Sounds pretty great, but slightly bulky/heavy
Ampeg 410HE & B410HE = Sounded thin (lack of ports?). Had both. Never again.
Ampeg B410HLF & PN410HLF = ?

Avatar 410 NEO = Sounded OK, and I loved how light it was, but the crossover was crap and I KEPT blowing the horn's voice coils. Would prefer trying something else.

GK Backline 410 = Tested at G.C. once and sounded sorta meh :hmm:
GK 410RBH = Spendy, but sweet.
GK 410RBX, MBX, MBE = ?

Hartke & Carvin are two brands I see a lot of bassists using. Never tried them myself, but I'm curious.
Genz Benz, Eden, Schroeder, Bergantino, Aguilar & Epifini cabs all look super nice / get great reviews, but are typically out of my price range.

Tend to overlook Fender, Peavey & SWR 410s, but I'm not altogether opposed.

Behringer - altogether opposed :p

Thoughts?
Recs?
Warnings?

etc :)

You should also mention a price range. Used might be your market...for example you said Aguilar might be out of your price range, but I got a next-to-mint condition GS410 on here for $600...I think they retail at just over $1k. That cab is also heavy at 100lb., but I bought it to do exactly what you're doing: replace my 8x10. I still have yet to even come close to running short on volume...it sounds wonderful, a little on the "dark" side if you will, but I like that quite a bit. The tweeter is extremely responsive, I usually run it just above 0 or completely off.

My budget pretty much stops at $500, and even then I'd need to sell a few things. I'll probably start by posting stuff on CL w a list of cabs I'd possibly trade for.
Otherwise I'll be keeping an eye out for used deals or waiting till I have a bit more money.

I absolutely love my Aguilar GS410. I found mine used as well and I'm so glad I got it. I would like a second one but one kicks a$$.
