I don’t need no stinking compressor[Invalid or Expired Link Removed] ?
This is the way to go because every venue is different and has their own rules about how to hang banners.Me made a freestanding structure fromblack PVC pipes that we place behind the drummer, for when we play and there is no place to hang the banner. We made it do it can be dismounted and put in a bag.
If you want extremely unique ideas on how to hang it, get a few small quad-copter drones, and hang it from them. Then have them fly the banner around the venue.
Maybe get one of those telescoping/collapsable tent poles with the elastic running through it. It'll collapse down to nothing and then roll it inside the banner for storage. Then you can make it full-length and either snake it through the grommets, or use carabiners to hang each grommet from the pole. Then attach metal hoops to the ends of the tent pole. That way you can attach either more carabiners, or twine, or bungee cords, or giant safety pins, or whatever mounts best to whatever is behind the stage.
I haven't actually tried this idea. Just spitballing for some unique ideas.
Only issue with that type stand is it doesn't have the bottom piece to span the two sides. Makes it hard to get the banner tight across the bottom. If that's an issue to you.Go on Ebay and look for a photo backdrop kit. These things come with 2-stands , cross beams , clips and black backdrops or scenes as low as $20-30 bucks .
LOL #%!* autocorrect.Only problem is the segments tend to break off and make new cords.
And you're always hungry but you never gain weight no matter how much you eat.
Is that what you do?You can buy a bag of zip ties at places like Harbor Freight for a few bucks. Just cut the tie at the end of the gig.
