Another personal 'Nard favorite, with Nile Rodgers on lead vocals.
He’s always in my top five. I’ll never forget hearing the C’est Chic album for the first time and experiencing that “I’ve found my home” sensation. Such a special player.

'Happy Man', yes, one of my all-time favorites (it's actually Bernard on vocal). Not only is it a tour-de-force of funk guitar/bass playing, the octaves Bernard drops in at 3:50 during the fade-out are the mark of a true genius. Just a little 'kick' to keep things interesting. He was like Jamerson in that respect. Niles' solo is also superb.
I love this one too. Very quirky with Nile on Lead vocal.
