Double Bass Harley Benton DB01 and DB02 - Looking for infos

Wow, that went deep! On other flaws: The end pin rattles in the body unless it is at least half extended. So you can really hear it under 'strap on mode'. I guess I could just leave the end pin out. The 1/4" cable jack and the battery compartment are el-cheapo. I could see both needing to be replaced first. The neck was a bit rough at the fingerboard transition, but I hit it with some steel wool and it's pretty nice now. Is there a fingerboard oil anyone might recommend? Also, at least for now, the 'ebonized' fingerboard comes off on your hands to the extent your looks like you were working in the garage.

Hi,

Here (Stagg) no real endpin rattling, but IIRC people have been mentioning it as well (in the the dedicated Stagg EUB megathread). Don't recall the exact fixes they did (and the effectiveness), but it'll be along the lines of (obviously) adding dampening material inside.

Curious still, how's the noise behaviour of the Harley Benton? (jack out and/or at headphone out)
