Hartke 5410 combo separation

I’ve had issues with the head portion of this combo, which is basically a lh500 paired with a 410 Hydrive cab. Now I’ve basically given up on this head but I was wondering if I can bypass the head completely and unplug it (basically has a speaker cable connecting the two in the combo) ... then run my ha5500 head on it. The cab is rated at 4 ohms... I believe I can get 500 watts at same impedance from the ha5500 but wanted to make sure it won’t jack up either or... yes I know I should fix the original head but I’ve tried getting it done even with Mr. Hartke involved and it’s only worked for a little bit then crap out again... I’ve had transistors replaced, the power amp... thinking more tube related now... don’t know (FYI, volume cuts out and/ or crackles.... thought was active jack but happens in both). Really pissing me off because I love this combo. Just want to utilize what actually works on this combo which is essentially the cab portion... thoughts?
