I'd like to join. Here's a picture of my old rig (bought in 1989 IIRC):
I've recently sold the 410 cab and upgraded to a LH500 and a HyDrive 115. I also have a Kickback 120 for small gigs.

That is a brand new GK MB-500.
I'm going for the light-weight rig.
The GK is 500 watts at 4 - 5lbs
Hey all
Im just breaking into the Bass world. I've played acoustic and electric 6 strings for about 10 years. I've always wanted a bass...but everytime i had the cash...it always went towards my next 6 string guitar.
Anyway...was just wondering if maybe i could join the Hartke club?
I found this little gem on craiglist for 50 bucks!
In high school my buddy had a set of hartke transporters. (2X10 cab and 1X15 cab) it was always sweet, and I've loved hartke since then. So i was stoked to see an add for a 2115 combo for 50 bucks. (this not two days after i purchased my Bass, which im still waiting on its arrival) Its pretty beat up, but still functioning...although...Im wondering if the driver as been replaced...I know normally these combos come with the aluminum drivers...but i think this it is a pretty early model...any chance they made these without the aluminum cone? I popped the driver out and it doesnt havent any names on it, just some numbers. So i have no idea who made the driver or if its original or not. (im guessing not) Any input on this would be welcome.
Its missing a nut on the passive input, which for now im going to harvest one off of the unused speaker out in the back since i wont be hooking up an external cab anytime soon. And its missing a few of the fronts for the EQ slides, but the slides still work fine. When i got it it was pretty drirty but i vaccumed the outside and dusted everything and i think its looking pretty BA again. Still wish it had the Aluminum driver...if nothing else cause i love the look. Like i said though, im just starting up on bass, so all i need this for is to practice at home, ill never gig with it. So im extremely happy with the purchase for 50 bucks. I figure the HA2000 amp alone is worth 100 bucks.
So, if my Hartke isnt too lame, id love to join your kick arse club!

I found a Kickback 12 at a pawn shop for $100. Needless to say I snagged it. It's a perfect acoustic guitar amp with a Korg AX3A modeler, too.
I was under the impression it was bad to play something like an acoustic guitar through a bass amp...? Was i mistaken?

You're right: the 2115 combo had originaly aluminum cone. But you won't regret about those 50 bucks you spent as long as it sounds good.
