Hartke HD-112 Cube making Weird Moog Like Distortion Decay sound???

Hi Guys/Gals, Bought a 2nd Hartke HD-112 Cube (used) from GC...Looks like Brand New...BUT...Sometimes it produces a Weird Distortion (Moog Synth Like) Sound on the Decay/Trailing of the Original Pluck...Only on certain notes on Fretboard (ie...5th Fret of low E String...A) To me it sounds like something wrong (Loose Solder Joint?) in the Crossover Section. Has ANYONE ELSE had this Problem before with a Hartke HD-112???

That's a bizarre conclusion...

Once you rule out a defective or knock-off SpeakOn plug on your cable, the most common cause (provided it's this speaker only) is a defective driver where a part of the coil is no longer firmly attached to the bobbin. There are other driver defects that cause this, but not as common.

If both speakers do this, there are a variety of amp problems that can cause this symptom as well. It depends on the amp as to which specific problems may apply.
