Hi All,
I'm never to the forum but for the life of me I can't find any info on this.
I lent my Hartke KM200 to a younger player in need, and when I got it back and plugged it in it worked for about 3 mins. Then the sound almost completely stopped, and upon inspection the 15" driver ripped 360 degrees near the dust cap.
I'd like to replace the driver, but I don't use this amp for much of anything so I'd like to stay cheap. Maybe a cheaper JBL or Eminence. Just something decent. I suspect buying a new driver from Hartke will be $$.
Does anyone know the impedence of this speaker? The tweeter very clearly says 4 ohms on it, but this says nothing. My measurement on the blown speaker is exactly 4 ohms, but I always thought a true 4 ohm speaker will measure something lower (3-3.4ish).
Thanks
