Hartke lh1000 problems

At a recent gig, stopped hearing sound from speakers, but was coming thru mains. In a couple of minutes, lights on amp went out, no power. What could have happened? Now won't power on. Using hartke lh 1000

There have been a few posts of this amp having one of the power amps die. This may have happened to you and the fuse blew to prevent injury or property damage. If you have a warranty use it for repair/replacement.

At the risk of getting dinged by the mods: Damn!

Find a local repair shop, they may be able to get you working again even if that means disabling one power amp if repairs cost too much.

If the amp had a better longevity, I might have considered a repair. One year playability is not saying much for an amp, now it's hard to trust it on stage without a backup. The other power amp could blow even if repaired.

A failure like that I'd be demanding repair from the manufacturer so close to end of warranty.

My Hartke Kilo is in for warranty repair for this very same thing. Once they tell me the problem, I'll comment on this thread what they tell me.
