    I have a brand new LX550. class D. weighs 8 pounds. opened it to play it in the living room for 10 mins. getting out of bass for now. will come with original box and packaging. 500 watts into 4 ohms. hartke is very particular in always stating this amp will run constantly at 500 watts. so that's not its peak wattage, thats its always wattage. built in compressor and drive that both work really well. has a mini tube pre amp. headphone 3.5mm and 3.5mm aux input 20210128_080210.jpg

    What is the difference between this, and the other model?

    compaired to the TX models this has a micro tube pre. so it uses the 12AX7 tube in the pre. it's kind of a hybrid because it is a class D amp. the TX also has a 3 band EQ with a mid, where as this has a frequency knob for the mids. this also has an FX loop and return and a tuner output. I believe somewhere I also read when they introduced the TX line people thought the fan was too loud and that they'd quieted it down with the LX models. this also has a bright switch.
