Hartke or TC Electronic HEAD ??

i'm upgrading my head from a 1970's Univox 240 watt.
have two cabinets - Acoustic with 2 15" , and Univox with 2 15"
i only use one of the cabinets now but eventually want to use both

I'm looking to buy either Hartke HA-3500 or TC Electronic BH-500
any thoughts or concerns about either ??

FYI, the BH500 head is on sale as the Stupid Deal of the day at Musician's friend for 299$ instead of 499 today.

hah ! that's why i'm asking.
my budget is $300 and the Hartke HA 3500 is in that range , but this TC deal came up today.
Is the slide EQ feature on Hartke that important vs TC dial EQ ??

I love my Hartke HA3500. Best bang for the buck hands down. It has so many tone shaping features but it will always have this aggressive edge to it (at least mine does). It's clean sounding yet aggressive upper mid presence. I love it.

How many ohms are the 2 cabs you want to use? If they are each 4 ohms then you need an amp that goes down to 2 ohms in order to use both.

DAMMIT! I jumped over to Musician's Friend, clicked 'Stupid Deal of the Day, it comes up with a UK price of £190 and there's a 'ship to UK' icon top right! So, I hit 'add to cart' excitedly!

................ then it says 'does not currently ship to your location'....

I then googled Musician's Friend UK, looked up the BH500... they have one 'mint' used example at £295.77

I have the bh500 and im very happy with it it has some cool features i run it trough a TCE rs410 cab
