Remind's me of his student's bass. That one with the really long neck. I can't remeber that guy's name.
This picture came up in a brawl topic about how may strings is ideal for a bass.

I was looking at both Celinder and Mørch before getting my MTD. I really want a Danish bass before I move back to England. Then when I get to England I'll get something quality made there. Ideally a Wal, but that's not really possible, sadly. Something else...
Back on topic - I've never seen Jaco's Mørch... I'm not too fond of it, from that picture. Did he not use it much?

No no no, look at the headstock. That's no way that's a Pilot.
Check out the Mørch head on his site. It's a dead-on match.
Plus i know jaco had one and it is not the first time this pic has been up.
I don't think he played it that much. Can't remember why. Think something about getting it too late(before his death) or maybe stolen.
As i recall WR was on tour in Dk and jaco tried a Mørch, liked it and order one.
Maybe one of this boards Mørchheads could help out???

I was gonna say, I heard that he had gotten this one quite late on and so it never saw a great deal of playing. Never seen a picture of him with it before though!
He also ordered a fretted and a fretless Jaydee, but was killed before he got them. Funnily enough, I'm just sitting here listening to "The Juggler" by Weather Report. Jaco is just the man.
