Has anyone else seen a Spector like this?

Howdy y’all,

I purchased a six string fretless Spector Euro this year and I’ve been curious to learn more about it since I haven’t really seen any others like it online: https://reverb.com/item/37935857-sp...-6-string-fretless-bass-guitar-with-zebrawood

I checked the number on the headstock and based on Spector’s website, it’s a 2008 Euro model. Has anyone else seen a fretless six string model with a zebrano top like this before? Just curious for a little more info on the model or if was some sort of special order. Thanks!

I don't think they ever made a fretless that was a stock offering, so that was likely a special order.

There have been a few custom Euros posted here on TB over the years, not sure if they were ordered through a retailer that way or direct through Spector, but don't think that's a thing anymore.

The Zebrawood Euro was standard at some point. You'll have better luck getting info posting this on the Spector thread.

I've seen a lot of special builds and to be fretless it's definitely a more unique offering. I would definitely show the guys in the Spector club thread. That thing is wonderful!

Revisé el número en el clavijero y según el sitio web de Spector, es un modelo Euro 2008. ¿Alguien más ha visto un modelo de seis cuerdas sin trastes con una tapa de zebrano como esta antes? Te felicito por la compra, es un bajo hermoso!!! Hace unos dias compré uno de 6 y también me pareció un ejemplar extraño porque casi no se ve nada en la web, el mio es un año más viejo. Pero quedé impresionado por el sonido, si es necesario puede slapear como si no fuese fretless
