Double Bass Has anyone tried out a barefaced midget cab with a double bass?

No, but I'm getting a B.F.'d Midget T soon, and will be using it in the future with a DB (and electric).
My understanding is that the Midget has fairly prominent upper mids; depending on your pickup/mic you may find you want to EQ out some of those. But I'm sure it'll work great once you EQ to taste.
I'm not familiar with your Aguilar.
20 lbs. for insane volume capabilities! (22 lbs with the tweeter & Xover.) I can't wait.
I have been experimenting with using an LR Baggs Venue DI through my Markbass F1 (as a power amp, using fx return) into a Midget T (the tweeter version). Works well and is very loud. I have a small amount of tweeter engaged to get it a little brighter. There's a guy on my UK bass forum (BassChat) who uses an EA Doubler with a Midget and is very happy with the results. Likewise someone on BassChat uses a Barefaced Super Twelve (effectively two Midgets on one cab) and is really pleased with it.
