It's nice to see that a company designed a very serviceable/replaceable truss system.
The OP came out on top, but a shame that an original owner swept such a nice bass out with the rest of the dust. It's obvious he/she could have fixed it instead of taking the probably $50-100 bucks GC gave them. It's amazing more people don't contact the manufacturer.

Congrats. I called about that one too. the broken truss rod scared me off. I did however score another Spector from GC. Great story!, Spector is first rate when it comes to customer service.
