head to cab connection issues

Hey guys,
I'm having some peculiar issues with my head - cab connection.
I have two heads: Shuttle 3.0 and Eden wt405. The Shuttle has one 1/4 inch output and one speakon output. The Eden can a speakon and two 1/4 inch outputs.
The cabs in question are a Bag End 15-d and the 210 they make. They both have 1/4 inch inputs and banana inputs, and the 210 also has a speakon input.
For this, i used three cords:
Cord A: 1/4 inch to 1/4 inch
Cord B: Speakon to banana
Cord C: Speakon to 1/4 inch

When using the Shuttle:
Cord A can power both cabs.
Cord B can power both cabs (speakon side on the amp and banana for the cabs).
Cord C can power both cabs if the speakon side is on the amp. If the speakon side is on the 210 (the only cab that has speakon input), then it will not power the cab.

When using the Eden:
Cord A can power both cabs.
Cord B cannot power either cab.
Cord C can power both cabs like with the Shuttle (the speakon input on the 210 won't work).

I don't get why the banana cord would work with the Shuttle but not the Eden, considering that the speakon output on the Eden is demonstrated to work. Does anyone have anything to offer? I'm so confused...
