Hey everyone-
Sorry if this has been talked about before. I have come across this type of headstock several times recently on basses. I am used to seeing it on classical guitars. What is this style called? Is it a Hauser thing? If anyone knows anything about them - is there any benefit/drawback to them tonally/etc? Or is it just a looks thing? Looks like there could be stability issues. I am thinking of having Stambaugh build me a bass and am exploring every possible "edit" I can make to a bass. I do like the way these tunes feel and they are IMVHO easier to reach when tuning.
This is a Nadjalin bass headstock.
Thanks!
