I just picked up a GK 700RB-II to play with my electric and double bass. I am running a DPA 4099B and Rev Solo II into the Headway. My electric (Fender Am Stan Jazz) is going into the primary input. I was under the impression that I could run the line out from the Headway into the effects return on the 700. But any time I do that, the signal from my electric goes away. This would make sense to me except for the fact that the 700's manual says. "Effects Return: Returns the Effects Loop signal to the signal path. May also be used as a secondary input for another instrument or CD player. The preamp signal is not interrupted if the Send jack is not used."

Please let me know if there is a solution. I'd love to run my electric into the GK's eq and the double bass into just the Headway's pre section. Is this possible?
