Double Bass Heel Crack

I just picked up used what I believe is a Strunal 504 (all laminate 3/4). The bass has the string shop label, and made in Czech Republic, and looks like those tuners Strunak uses and the shape, but I can’t find the maker. Maybe stamped out of the way in side. Picked it up from a family with the son off to college a few years and this has sat in its soft case tuned to pitch.

Anyway, I see one small hairline crack in the heel that I want to have looked at before I string up with new strings. I can’t really detect movement, but just maybe a little when under tension. I can feel it in the finish.

I’m going to have a luthier check it out, and have it tuned down at the moment, but any thought on if something this fine can get glued? Pretty fine but I wouldn’t want it to go farther.
