    Hello!

Been playing for a few months using my Jackson CBX V and I got myself a Fender Rumble 100, practicing and learning the ropes in my bedroom. Haven't seen many other people use many jackson basses so I am in the minority then, I would assume. Still, I love her! She's great and she's mine and I'm very slowly modifying her to my liking :)

I'll mostly use the forums to search for any guides, tips and solutions to any problems I might encounter while playing this wonderful instrument.

    Have a great day everyone!

Howdy. Something about the bass that just fits into what I enjoy about music. The beat and groove. Welcome and look forward to your comments.

Love the Rumble series of amps- I have the 40 for practice and small gigs- sounds great with a guitar as well!!

Rumble 100 is so cool, I wasn't a fan of the look at first but after a while I love it! I just want to get a compressor, eventually and maybe some distortion and I'm all set :)

the “vintage” button adds a bit of compression, and I find the overdrive pretty good for a bit of dirt. If you want pedals- Boss CS-3 is a good pedal for compression/sustain- I DO use it as an “always on” at front of chain. Very light settings goes a long way- everything around 12:30 on the knobs works for me.
Just got a Caline Puffer fuzz unit based on how it works with bass- very nice, and very cheap! 6DBD7EC0-83EF-4398-9D9C-64493B856649.jpeg
You may want a DI/preamp box to handle OD as well- Behringer BDI-21 or the Caline “Wine Cellar” can get you there and have XLR output to go into PA/board- both very inexpensive as well- here is Wine Cellar- just got these two pedals last week! 17297210-839C-4BB3-BF80-D649F6A57E77.jpeg

keep it on the Down Low! Carl

    Thanks for all the recommendations!
I was thinking of getting my hands on either Markbass Compressore or Electro Harmonix Tone Corset (come on, that second one looks so cute!) so we will see :)

    Thank you!
