Hi all! I've played a few different instruments over the years, but bass was one of my favorites. After focusing on folk harp for a long time, I've gotten interested in bass again. I bought two Peavey Furies that I really love. One I was going to swap the neck and upgrade the electronics on as a graduation gift for my godson. I'm sure to be posting for advice about that. I just picked up another one on eBay today for a good price. Be talking to you soon..

Thanks guys! I'm actually getting another Fury in from eBay today ($225 with shipping) and was going to post some pics of it when I got time.
It's funny. My first bass was a Peavey P bass. I'm not sure if it was a Fury, or not, but I went on from that and spent a lot of money on other fancier basses, I come full circle.

I used to do digital art. That's one of my pieces. I can't remember how I did it for the life of me lol

Some pics as requested. I really didn't have much time last night, but I was able to take a few quick shots of them. I could take more if you'd like.
This first one by itself I just got in yesterday. Got it for a decent price ($225, shipping included). It has a few dings on the body, but other than , that its in great shape. I was really pleased with it til i plugged it in & all I heard was ground hum.. big surprise.. It was an "as is" listing, though, and I wanted to replace the electronics anyway.
The other two I've had for a little while now. The red one was made in '92 and is a little worse for wear. The hardware is grungy, the finish is really chipped and scratched up, someone drilled a hole through the pickguard, and the intonation on the E string is so low all it does is go clickclack. This is the one I was going to take the neck off. The other one is in fairly good shape, a few minor scratches here and there, but its in good shape aside from that. It plays like a dream and has plenty of thump with flatwounds.
