Hi everyone. I'm Dan, currently living in SoCal. I've played classical and jazz piano for about 22 years and organ for 8 years. A friend of mine gave me a beautiful Charvel/Jackson 3B bass guitar for Christmas ~6 months ago, on the condition that I learn to play it. I've been having an absolute blast with it - it's a lot of fun. Since my music theory and sheet music reading is solid, my biggest challenges have been the mechanics of the bass guitar, and learning where notes are on the fretboard.
