Hello from Sydney!

Hi guys,

I am actually from Kent in the UK but living in Sydney Australia!
Not been here long and I am actually a drummer.. :nailbiting: but due to me moving to Australia I am unable to play drums anymore :rollno: which prompted me to maybe learn to play the bass!

Any advice is very much welcome! Looks to be a great forum and I look forward to chatting with some of you!

Michael

Welcome. The hard part for most bassists is rhythm. You understand this so the learning curve to bass is not that hard.

We play notes of the harmonizing chord. How many and where are they located on my fret board is....

....a kinda long story. Here is a starting place. Post #4 in the How to get started? sticky will answer the question about what notes and where they are located. Now all you need is something to tell you what harmonizing chords are being used in this song. I use fake chord sheet music. Do a Google.

Again welcome.
