I've been lurking here for a while but have never joined. Well, I finally got around to it and look forward to chatting with you! This seems to be THE resource for bass players, not to mention a great place to make new friends!
My name is Matt, I've been playing for about 20 years or so, been gigging and recording for, I guess about 15 of those years and still going. Just cant stop!
Over the years, I've owned many cool basses, but alas since I'm not rolling in the money I've had to sell them to buy others. Darn! if I could only have kept them all, I would have Ricks, 60-s era Fender P's, 2 Hofner Beatle basses, Guild Starfires, Fender J's, Warwicks....*sigh*..
Anyway, just wanted to say and look forward to chatting and meeting you all!

thanks fry!
Ricky - Corvette's are awesome little basses. They are made rock solid. The hardware is first class, the thing stays in tune basically forever. Reliable as all heck. The only improvement that I made, if you even want to call it that, is putting active EMG's in it. The stock p/u's were fine, I'm just addicted to EMG's....
