hello,

i`m new on this forum.I life in the netherlands.Id never have played or buildt a bass before.But coming winter im trying to buildt a shortscale vintage bass:a fender mustang or a fender telecaster bass.Thats the reason im on this form.I cant findt anything on the internet how to buildt them,no buildingplans nothing.Even on the fender site...nothing so i hope to findt out more on this forum.

NYC was originally New Amsterdam, no idea why Amsterdam came before York, but York eventually bought the land which is now Manhattan. No worries my friend, your accent/typos is part of who you are, basically, you speak two (or perhaps more) languages and that is one more than most people on this forum. Viel glück mit dein Bass. Never being in Amsterdam so I can't say a thing from the city but what I can say is that the 2 most beautiful girls I've seen in my live were from there. That was in 2000 new years eve and I think I'm still having wet dream with them!!! :hiding:

That was in the city of Cuzco (you know the incas, macchu picchu, the energy, etc)

Ah! another dutchie! good to see you. where in Holland are you?

for a first build I would recommend that you read some books (the one by Melvyn Hiscock is a good one) and you can check out the Tutorials from Invalid Link Removed which are also very helpful. Plans are indeed hard to find so you might end up drawing your own, or could buy some pre-cut templates from Ebay.

im from the northern part of the netherlands,from the province Fryslan.Whe have a own language too called....frys.
Why are you dutch too?Kom je ook uit nederland dan?

I didnt builDT a bass before but made 2 telecasters and a 3rd project has started (strat body/tele neck with a floyd rose bridge)and i hope to finisch this also coming winter.

zo te zien zijn we in alle hoeken vertegenwoordigd, ik kom uit Zuid-Holland (het westen) het is inderdaad vervelend dat men denk dat hier Duits wordt gesproken...

Looks like we're represented from all the corners of the country, I'm from "Zuid-Holland" (in the west). It is indeed annoying that people think we speak german here...
