ok, I bought me 105Q on ebay about a year ago, and it hasn't had any problems, until now.

When I take my foot off the pedal, it doesn't disengage from the wah, instead it stays in the really muddy, bassy part of the wah sound.

I tried adjusting the little brown thingumy next to the battery that controls the on/off delay, and nothing happened.

anyone else have experience with this problem? What should I do?

Sounds like something isn't triggering properly. Maybe the heel switch broke?

Contrary to popular belief, the Dunlop 105Q Bass Crybaby is technically not switchless. Check that switch on the heel side. Try pushing it down with something to see if it turns the effect off. It's tiny, but hold down the toe end of the treadle with your hand or foot to expose it and you can't miss it.

Normally, a piece of rubber on the underside of the heel holds the switch down until you move the treadle forward. It's a momentary switch which turns the effect off only as long as it's held down. If it wears out, it will not turn off the effect anymore.

Had this happen to me. Get a small tooth pick and press down the small black switch recessed in the body under the heel of the pedal. If that does the trick, just super glue a small, thin piece of plastic to the small rubber piece on the bottom of the heel. That way, the small plastic piece fits into the recessed hole and switches it off in the heel down position.

Oh O... I had this same problem - took it to the Bass Centre & they tried to fix it, they then sent it off to another company to fix. The only way to fix the problem was to gut the pedal (remove EVERYTHING from inside) & replace it (I imagine it would have been quite costly had it not have been under warranty).

Find the person who you bought it from and throw it through their car window cause' thats all its going to be usefull for.

Sorry for being a doom-sayer.
