Hey im new to this site, saw it when i was looking for help with buying a new cab for my bass
I need to know if this will work
I have a Fender BX200 head, the manual says its Rated load impedance: 4 ohms, and i run it out of a Yorkville 1x15? i think but its just not cutting it for me

i was thinking of buying a Yorkville 4x10 cab at 8 ohms impedance

Will this work? i have no idea, please help, i need a bigger cab asap

Depends how many ohms your Yorkville 1x15 is.


If the 1x15 is 8ohms and you add an 8 ohm 4x10 you'll be running at 4ohms total which that head will handle.

If the 1x15 is 4 ohms it will not work as the combination of the two cabs will put you under 4 ohms total.

Or, if your plan was to just use the new 4x10 by itself, then yes it will work fine. Even better if both cabs are 8ohm and you can use both when you need/want to.

yeah, i was just planning on using the head with the 4x10 itself
so no damage then?
