Help dating an Ampeg 810 - Not flat back and not towel rack

Can anyone tell me what era Ampeg the 810 pictured is? Two recessed spring handles in place of the towel rack. Haven't seen many like this.

Open up the cab and look at the numbers on the speakers inside which indicate when they were made.

That cab was made in Japan, MTI era, early to mid 1980’s. Ampeg products were made there for a while. Quality was good.

Thank you, I will do that but its not going to be quick; the previous owner screwed the grill cloth frame to the cab with about 50 wood screws. So might have to be a saturday project. It sounds great though!
