So I have been looking for the past week or 2 and Im currently trying to find stingray or sterling (both music man)with a matching headstock and rosewood board and I am currently having 0 luck on ebay samash and anywhere else. can anyone provide some insight or if i missed somewhere(i checked gc)

In the past, I've been aided by two separate methods of searching for basses I've yearned for.
1. SearchTempest (www.searchtempest.com)
If you're in the U.S. (and with your username, why shouldn't I assume this?), you can perform a region-by-region Craigslist search. In one instance, it helped me find a couple of discontinued basses over the past few years. It also helps that their sellers were willing to ship them to me.
2. Google Images (images.google.com)
The first discontinued bass I was seeking out was quite a hard-target. My Google web/shopping searches were only turning up sellers that, when I'd call to confirm if they did indeed carry it, turned out to be old website data. In my frustration I had a flash of inspiration…do a Google Images search.
At first, I was getting a lot of forum posts and sellers like I mentioned before (basically, old data). But as I kept at it, it became easy to tell what was old from new, updated pics. Eventually, I spotted a pic that I hadn't seen in previous searches. It had been recently uploaded by an eBay seller and within a day or two she was mine.
