Help for a foreigner visiting America

Hey guys, I'm from Singapore.

I might possibly be visiting the USA later this year and definitely wanna check some music stores out. Can y'all give me a list of places I could(or should) go to? I might buy a 5/6 string while I'm there to bring back with me.

I don't know if there are any places that.. Say... Rip off?

Where are you going to be in the US? The big stores (i.e. GC, SamAsh) will be pretty similar no matter where you go, but there could be some cool local stores where you are headed.

Oops - my bad! My dad hasn't really confirmed a location but he says probably San Francisco/New Orleans/Las Vegas/Los Angeles.
