Help got an ampeg svt7 po

Hi all ...I'm new here but here is my dilemma...I have a ampeg 410 600 watt cabinet and I have two 215 vintage style Peavy cabinets I have no idea what the watts are on the Peavy but before I sell my old setup a Peavy 400 and two 215 cabs ..can I use the cabinets..in conjunction with my ampeg 600watt 410 would it work would it sound bad .? I play metal and before I go hooking up stuff I wanted to ask some people who know I can't afford to fry my ampegs either one

Looks like a 410he, which is an 8 ohm cab. What ohms are your Peavey cabs? You may be able to hook up one of the 215's with the 410he or use both Peaveys if they're 8 ohm cabs, but if they're 4 ohms, you can't. The SVT 7 Pro has a 4 ohm minimum, and using a combination that's less than that will smoke it in short order.

Those Peavey cabs are likely 4 ohms each. The Peavey 400 will run happily at 2 Ohms (which is what you get by running the pair of 4 ohm cabs,) but the SVT 7 needs a minimum 4 Ohm load IIRC. Unless those are 8 Ohm cabs, don't hook them both up to the Ampeg.
