I really dig the sound of that jazz bass. Really, really ballsy, especially if you listen to other videos from Uriah.
He says in the comments that it's a Lakland DJ Skyline with EMG pickups. I'd like to take a Squire VM jazz bass and try and get as close to that sound as I can. I looked through EMG's pickups and I can't possibly figure out what model the pickups are (I'm unfamiliar with them), or what I should change the preamp to, etc. Can anyone lend a hand?
