Help identify these string with no silk at headstock

Hi, I am trying to identify the strings in a vintage EB I just bought.
Flatwounds with no silk at headstock, red silk at bridge

I don't know of any flats by major brands with no silk at the tuner end and red silk at the ball end. My guess would be they're generic factory strings. The inconsistencies in the windings tell me they're of poor quality.

What make and model of bass is it?
