Double Bass Help Identify this EUB

Looks similar to an ultra-rare Japanese Guyatone, perhaps it is one, a rare bird indeed. I first came across the Guyatone in a vintage guitar magazine, before I was interested in bass but it sparked some curiosity. Didn't buy that issue at the time and when I went back to get it, it was sold out. Regrets.

Later, after I became interested in bass and with extensive searching of the Internet, I came across the "shark bass" again (so called for the bit that extends towards the player's body), and I downloaded the photos and any other info I could find. Alas, my computer was stolen, and I've not since been able to find pics or info on the Shark. So much for the permanence of the Internet.
....
First time I've seen a video of one, as I'm pretty sure that's what it is now after watching the clip a few times. The controls and everything about it are dredging up memories of what little info I had on it.

C:cool::cool:L!

I've never heard one before. I like it! :hyper:

It has been my Holy Grail EUB for a long time... First example I saw in that magazine was white. I've seen black and a red/black-burst. Electric Blue looks great.

Where/when did you film this? Know the name of the band?

SUGOI!
