HELP! im not the smartest guy in the world, GK1x15

okay so i hooked up a Hartke HA5500 500watt head to GK Goldline 2x10 and 1x15 cabs. very loud, very crisp clean happy tone. this was my first stack, and i had no idea how to use it.

so my first mistake was plugging the cabs into the head by instrument cable. i had no idea there was a difference!! so after a month of that, i completely FRY my head, like, fuses blown, circuitry all screwed up, that road. it was a very expensive fix!!! but now i have a huge problem...

my 1x15 cab will not respond, but the 2x10 works just fine. could the head blowing effect the cab?

another thing is that when i gig i use a Ibanez GSR200 with active pickups in it, and one pickup is dead (its a p/j) and the split p coil is dead. could the extra charge from the battery have blown my head, and made my 1x15 cab unresponsive?

you tell me.

im more confused than you.

About your cab I'm not so sure, but the gsr200 doesn't actually have active pickups, they are passive the battery is only powering the bass boost knob on and even if it were active pups to my knowledge that wouldn't have any effect, the only thing it will do is create clipping and distortion in the amp.

i mean it doesn't work in either output, which would be the case if its the cab, assuming the whole thing isn't fried then there could be some things like the input jack being broken, or a wire inside it being loose, you'd need to take a look inside and if you can't figure out then take it to a pro maybe
