Double Bass Help in a Capuzzi movement

Ok, so I was told just now told I can apply for All state, when I thought I could have like 3 months ago. So now instead of having 4 months, I have 1. But I'm up for the challenge. Problem is the tempo is Rondo Allegro. And I'm curious what range that is that is for Beats Per measure.

If all else fails I'll just take it at 60 bpm then take it up to 70,80.... and as high as I can go in 1 month but I just want to know what kind of range I should try and shoot for.

Do you have to play more than one movement from it? If you have the option, just do the first, it's a really nice piece of music and it's not too difficult. Interestingly enough, I'd consider the 3rd movement to be up there on difficulty on par with maybe the Dragonetti, but that's just my opinion. See what you can do with the first, I'd take it at about 100 bpm.

Yeah I really enjoy the first movement (Except that one measure of sixteenth notes in the begining) but this is for all state and the specificly say what one to play. 104 isn't horrible, I'm not the best at playing fast, but that's a good tempo to shoot for, I think I'm at around 72 right now maybe 80 so I have about a month to bring it up 20 which isn't impossible.

Any tips or hints for that movement?

Sometimes when I regress back to the original theme of the song, you know the A A B C D D thing, It really feels like a contradicting theme from the measures prior. I might be accidently slowing down or speeding up because I know that part pretty well, except my F# isn't always 100 % intune. I've been simplying jumping from D to F# on G string, so its kind of a hit or miss thing. The only other problem section is on the first page and it's a sixteenth note run that starts on C# (I'd give measure numbers but the piece is on my stand) but I think I might have a good fingering for it I just have to get the muscle memory for it.
